What does a wine of the month club have to offer you? For personal or gift memberships, are wine clubs worthwhile? What accounts for their growing popularity anyway?

Another benefit of a wine of the month club is that many of the wines selected for you will have been award-winning vintages at wine competitions. This means that more than one wine expert has assessed the quality of the wine.

Another advantage is that you, or the person you have chosen for the gift wine club membership (if they are 21 years of age or older of course), will be able to sample a range of wines sourced from various areas and countries. Most wine clubs will offer wines from top wine producing areas like France, Australia, Chile, Germany and Argentina, as well as Californian wines. In this way, you will discover wines that you would never have thought of trying, wines which may become lifetime favorites.
